IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Ltd, a subsidiary of fertiliser main IFFCO, on Tuesday mentioned it has signed a pact with Amreli District Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd to acquire cattle feed.
The Delhi-based firm will market cattle toes below its model ‘IFFCO KISAN’.
In response to the settlement, IFFCO Kisan will initially procure 300 tonnes of cattle feed from Amreli District Cooperative Milk Producers Union, and the goal is to extend the procurement to 1,000 tonnes over the subsequent few months, the corporate mentioned in a press release.
The settlement was signed by Sandeep Malhotra, managing director of IFFCO Kisan, and R S Patel, MD of Amreli District Cooperative.
Amreli District Cooperative Milk Producers Union operates a mega cattle feed plant in Amreli, Gujarat, having an general capability of 5,000 tonnes monthly.
With the most recent tie-up, IFFCO Kisan now has tie-ups with 10 entities for procurement/sourcing of cattle feed.
“Throughout fiscal 2020-21, we bought 1 lakh tonnes of cattle feed valued at Rs 160 crore and within the present monetary 12 months, we’re concentrating on Rs 300 crore of enterprise.
“Holding the expansion outlook, we need to tie up with extra third-party producers and affiliation with Amreli District Cooperative Milk Producers Union is a step in that course,” mentioned Ganesh Sprint, nationwide gross sales head, IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Ltd.
