Ghaziabad: A gang of vehicle lifters was busted after its 4 members had been arrested on Thursday.
Police stated the gang used to grab autos from individuals and different valuables after recognizing them alone on roads.
The accused have been recognized as Tinku alias Vishal Kasana, Aashu alias Deepty, each residents of Ghaziabad, and Rahul Bhati and Prince of Baghpat.
A couple of days in the past, the accused stole a automobile and took it to Haridwar and used its FASTag at a number of toll plazas throughout the journey. This helped police to trace down the automobile and the culprits.
Abhay Kumar Mishra, circle officer, Kavi Nagar, advised TOI that the gang is liable for seven crimes, together with robberies and theft, prior to now six months in Kavi Nagar. “The gang had stolen two automobiles, together with a WagonR and a Bolero. Other than this, 5 robberies had been dedicated by them after discovering the victims in a desolate space.”
The police have recovered the WagonR, Bolero, Rs 13,600 money and a country-made pistol from their possession. All 4 had been booked below sections 379 (theft) and 392 (theft) of the IPC and below the Arms Act.
